Bad Economy=Ministry Opportunity

Everyone is feeling the pain from the recession. However, this pain also brings opportunity for outreach and family ministry.

Families have less money to spend on entertainment, so they’re looking for cheaper alternatives. Why not provide them one, and share the Gospel with them at the same time?

For example, you could host a full evening magic program for a family night out. There are a lot of ways this program can look. It could be in place of a normal church service, or perhaps a full 90-minute program on a special night. It could even be a multi-day event.

Instead of a traditional VBS, or to augment traditional children’s programming, have a family outreach event lasting anywhere from a single evening to a full week.

With a little creativity, these hard times can also be a great opportunity.
