Upward National Conference

Last weekend, I was an exhibitor at the first Upward National Conference. It was an amazing event. It included challenging speakers like George Barna, and Erwin McManus, worship led by Russ Lee, and entertainment by Dennis Swanburg and New Song.

Of course I wasn’t there just to enjoy the event. As an exhibitor, I got to meet people from churches across the country that are reaching out to their communities using Upward’s sports ministries. (My table was right next to the restrooms, so everyone had to come past my table eventually!) I got to catch up with people from churches I’ve worked with in the past, as well as new people I hope to partner with in the future.

The more I work the Upward, the more impressed I am with their ministry. If you aren’t already familiar with Upward, it is an evangelistic outreach to kids and their families through sports. I highly recommend you check them out at www.Upward.org.
